Roderick is in many cases a man who likes justice, and having worked a considerate amount of time in the ministry in the Department of Magical Law Enforcements, and having been an auror. The man has a strong sense for justice, and tends to try to show his student a good example. Roderick can also be described as being extremely headstrong and strong-willed. Even though he tends to value loyal more than bravery. Despite having been placed in Gryffindor.

He also has a strong love for children, and has a mostly accepting outlook towards others than wizards. Not really being a fan of the pureblood society, despite being an half-blood, the man tends not to let the thought track of purebloods run his school. Roderick is also very ambition and wants to make the most out of his life. The man also likes to teach others, and had previously been a professor before he was given the position of being the headmaster.

Roderick is a huge fan of Quidditch, and tries to attend as many matches he can. As well as showing a lot of support towards the Quidditch teams. His favorite team being Pride of Portree, which he had decorated his office in support of that team. Roderick also enjoys his family and his children, which is in many cases his biggest weakness. The man is also a very loyal and tends to prove loyal to what he grew valuing.

When it comes to what Roderick fears aside from his family, would have to be the rise of the death eaters once more, trying to wreak havoc on Hogwarts. The man takes much pride in Hogwarts, and wants to see be one of the most prestigious schools there are, and tends to try to hold connections with the other schools. He also fears of his condition, and when it comes close to cycle, Roderick is in many cases an different person, being rather reserved, and careless.

His biggest flaws is that Roderick is in many cases very boastful of his achievements, to the point where many people do not like being around him. The man takes much pride in his work as being the headmaster of Hogwarts, and tries his hardest to make sure the students that leave the school are productive members of the wizarding world.

General History:
Roderick was born as the first child of Evander and Jane Lupin, a young couple who had been just getting their degree from college. Making his life for the most part a very good job, and had in many ways admired his uncle from a young age. Which would later inspire him in his later life after his uncle had passed away, but growing up though was not always the easiest. As the boy had been born with the werewolf curse which would cause the boy to kind of have an abnormal life, and had been in many cases was pretty tough when it came to transformations.

Despite having transformations monthly, Roderick had been a pretty active boy growing up and could be described as being a leader from a young age. Something both his parents often doted on while the boy was growing up. Which would cause his brother to in many cases be envious of his older brother who had admired. When Roderick was about six years old, the boy showed his first signs of magic which made his parents excited to have their son be able to go off to Hogwarts when he was older.

Making the years leading up to him attending Hogwarts quite stressful for Roderick and his younger brother Donovan. Once Roderick had went off to Hogwarts, it had gave his parents time to dote on their young son who they had ignored for most of his life. Roderick had been sorted into Gryffindor when he had attended Hogwarts, which would end up carving his path for him holding justice at such a high standard. His years at Hogwarts proved to be a breeze for Roderick who had stellar grades and in many cases made him the man he had been to this day.

When he reached his fifth year, Roderick had been given prefect and had been the eye opener for how much he loved being in charge. In many cases, being the worse thing, as Roderick tried to abuse his power that he was given, but had stopped when he was seventh year. Once he hit his seventh year the boy had done extremely well on his NEWTS especially in DADA, Transfigurations, and Charms.

After he graduated Hogwarts, Roderick had met a fellow Gryffindor who had been a year younger than him while they were attending a class together. Roderick who had been studying Magical Law and her attending there pursuing a degree in cursebreaking, and they had developed a close friendship which would go into their days after attending university. Although when the battle broke out things had began to go south for him for awhile, as after the battle while working in the ministry, he had been informed of his uncle's death which would end up devastating him as he had in many cases looked up to his uncle.

A couple years after the war though, Roderick had continued to work in the ministry as a highly respected member of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement until he was about thirty-five which he would end up being offered a position of being the DADA professor which the man instantly accepted due to him feeling he would be like the man he admired so deeply when growing up, which would end up proving to be one of the best things he did.

Things although began to start looking good for him, when the man had been offered the position of being headmaster after McGonagall had decided to retire, which had been about when Roderick had been thirty-nine and without hesitation, the man became the headmaster. Which he would be a position he would still hold to this day and being one of his primarily focus.

Hoping that he could make a better future for the students that would come out under his reign as the headmaster.

Family History:
Lupin is the surname of a wizarding family, though they have Muggle as well as magical heritage[1]. They are related to the Tonks family, and thus distantly to the Black, Malfoy, and Potter families. The Lupins supported the Order of the Phoenix during the First and Second Wizarding Wars. Members include Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Lupin, Ted Lupin, and Remus' parents, Lyall and Hope Lupin.

Lyall Lupin was a wizard who was a world-renowned authority on Non-Human Spirituous Apparitions. During the prelude to the First Wizarding War, the Ministry of Magic called on his expertise of Dark creatures to help contain the threat, and he eventually joined the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. He married a Muggle woman, Hope Howell, and had one son, Remus, who was bitten by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback in retaliation for a negative comment about lycanthropes that Lyall made.[2]

Remus was afflicted with lycanthropy during his childhood, as Fenrir Greyback's revenge against Lyall. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was Sorted into Gryffindor house. During his school years, he was one of the Marauders, best friends with Sirius Black, James Potter, and Peter Pettigrew.

After Hogwarts, Remus joined the Order of the Phoenix and fought in the First Wizarding War. However, Pettigrew betrayed James and Lily Potter to Lord Voldemort and Remus had lost all of his closest friends in various ways by the end of the First Wizarding War. The loss of his friends was said to be the most traumatic experience of his life, though he and Sirius Black later rekindled their friendship. By the early 1990s, Lupin was living in poverty, in a tumbledown, semi-derelict cottage in Yorkshire. Albus Dumbledore tracked Lupin down in the summer of 1993 and offered him a teaching post.

Remus taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts during the 1993-1994 school year. He was also a professor of Harry Potter, James's son, whom he taught how to conjure a corporeal Patronus, but resigned after Severus Snape revealed to the public that Remus was a werewolf. He fought against Death Eaters once more in the Second Wizarding War, during which he lost his friend Sirius. In 1997, Remus married fellow Order member Nymphadora Tonks and had a son, Edward Remus "Teddy" Lupin. Remus fought at the Battle of Hogwarts, during which his wife was murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange. Remus was also murdered by Death Eater, Antonin Dolohov, during the same battle in 1998. Leaving Teddy to grow up parentless.
